George J. Dineen was born on May 26, 1920, in Biddeford, Maine, the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Dineen. He attended local public schools,
and was graduated from Biddeford High School.
George then enrolled in the Saco-Lowell Apprentice School where he
pursued a course of study in electricity. After graduating, he became
a member of the U. S. Army, and served 34 months in the European Area.
Completing his military service, he joined the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard
where he was employed as an electrician in the electrical shop of the Planning
Department.
He is survived by his wife, the former Gabrielle Valliere, and three
children; Michael George, Barbara Mary, and Lynn Catherine. He also
leaves, in addition to his parents, two brothers, Charles and Robert; and
a sister, Mrs. Mary Hagger, all of Biddeford, Maine.
